Hummus at Home

Hummus at Home

Making hummus using a mini food processor: IT’S WORTH THE EFFORT!!! There are many ways to make hummus at home… Some buy canned chickpeas others use the pressure cooker. Both work. Plain hummus is good. Adding garlic is great. Yet another option is adding other herbs and flavors per your preference. This is what works for me every time: When I want hummus, I set all the ingredients along with the mini food processor on the kitchen counter… hint, hint!! And my dear husband, Bill, whips it all together 🙂…

Chapattis – the dough, the rolling, the cooking on gas or electric stove burners

Making the Indian Bread, Chapati. Making the Indian Bread – that most of us here in America avoid due to the mess it creates on the counter, the time it takes to make it and hence we buy it at the store, or eat pita or wraps. But there is truly nothing like the fresh, homemade, piping hot chapatti. In this blog, I will show you via my video how I cook them on a gas stove and we will…

To make a friend Be a friend.

To make a friend Be a friend.

To make a friend be a friend. I am very thankful for friends, friendship, fellowship! It is truly precious to share our hearts and listen to the other. More and more I am enjoying spending time cooking or dining with my friends. The networking opportunities are a vital tool. Key: Get out of the house and Show up! There are wonderful people in this world and I am just beginning to understand the words: To make a friend, Be a friend.

Holy Week

Holy Week

Thank you to all my friends at Christian Business Partners, Bakerstown PA. It was lovely sharing with the girls at our table at CBP today. We each shared what this time of the year means to us. For me, it is about resurrection, renewal, new beginnings, hope, and springtime! It is about celebration and family, acknowledging our blessings and trusting that All is Well! I am very thankful for my friends at CBP; they are generous, warm and authentic.

A Happy Cook Creates Tasty Meals!

A Happy Cook Creates Tasty Meals!

We are Energy Beings…..Our vibration directly impacts the food we prepare. A dear friend mentioned that my style is unique and so the food may not taste the same as when I cook it. My response: We put our energy, our vibration in our food. The same recipe when cooked by two different cooks tastes different. (It does not have to be good or bad, it’s different, even if it’s ever so slightly). I invite you to discover your preference. What do you want? What would…
